UNESCO Heritage – George Town is the capital of Penang and a UNESCO World Heritage Site famous for its historical architecture and sights from its colonial past. It’s offers excellent food, a large number of Penang’s famous tourist spots and feasts for the eyes. Situated in the northwest coast of Peninsular Malaysia, by the Straits of Malacca, the state of Penang is composed of two parts, Penang Island and the mainland called Seberang Perai.
