ITINERARY:Day 01 –KUL – Batu Caves – Kuala Selangor (79 km) (L/D)
Meet at 9.00am for your full day tour starting with a visit to the famous Batu Caves. Climb 272 steps to the sacred Hindu temple cave where the shrine of Hindu deity, Lord Murugah lies.
Explore Kuala Selangor with a visit to “Kota Melawati” formerly known as “Fort Altingsburg”. If you are lucky, you may spot the Silver-leaf monkeys roaming around the area. Proceed to a Malay village. Enjoy a local lunch in one of the villager’s house. Learn the customs of the villagers, mingle with them as they go on with their daily activities.
At dusk, embark on a boat trip along the Selangor River to see thousands of fireflies presenting itself with a dazzling display of lights, flickering in synchrony resembling twinkling Christmas trees in the darkness of the night.
Day 02 – Kuala Selangor Nature Park – Sekinchan (36.8 km) (B)
Explore the Kuala Selangor Nature Park, which shelters secondary forest, mangrove forest at the estuary of the Selangor River and mud flats which in turn supports different species of wildlife adding to the richness of the Park. It is also well known as a bird sanctuary, as 156 resident and migratory birds have been recorded so far.
Pay a visit to Ah Ma House, a specialty bakeshop in the middle of the paddy fields. The family-run business sells Traditional handmade Chinese delicacies made from their grandmother’s recipes.
Discover at the Paddy Gallery which is located amidst a sea of lush green or golden paddy field depending on the season, a collection of artefacts and other objects of paddy and rice industry.
Photo stop at the Redang Beach. At the Wishing Tree’s branches, it was said that dreams do come true as you “hang” them on it.
Day 03 –Kuala Selangor – Sky Mirror – Kuala Lumpur (72 km) (B)
Be amazed with the extraordinary experience at the Sasaran Beach, the unique sky mirror attraction! This spectacular mirror-like reflection only happens on the 1st and 15th of the lunar month, as well as 4 days before and after the date as the sea level is low.
